We make Trex® eco-friendly composite decks from an innovative blend of 95% reclaimed wood and plastic film—that’s almost the whole thing. On top of that, our company uses some of the most earth-friendly manufacturing processes in the country, reclaiming factory waste and eliminating the use of harmful chemicals. Das Altholz für unsere Terrassen wird mit recyceltem Plastik aus verschiedenen Quellen kombiniert: von Verpackungen für Papier- und Reinigungstücher über Sandwich-Folien bis hin zu Zeitungshüllen und Einkaufstüten. Interessant zu wissen: Eine durchschnittliche, 46 Quadratmeter große Trex-Terrasse aus Verbundmaterial enthält 140.000 recycelte Plastiktüten! Somit ist Trex einer der größten Recycler von Plastiktüten in den USA.
